My Story

Every artist was first an amateur

-Emerson

I have been living in Vancouver since 2006. In 2015 I discovered drawing as an outlet and have been actively practicing it since. My subjects tend to be landscapes drawn in ink inspired by a wide array of artists including MC Escher, Franklin Booth, Bill Watterson, Bernie Wrightson, and the beloved Bob Ross. I have experimented with portraits, figures, watercolors, and woodburning. My overall goal remains the same: to create drawings and illustrations which help the viewer relax and maybe escape to a quiet place. I earned a M. Ed and teach school as my day job.
